· Degree in tourism or related field preferred.

· At least 2-5 years’ experience in tourism serving international guests.

· Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, Email and Social Media.

· Must have a general knowledge of Guyana Tourism Product.

· Must have a general knowledge of the history of Guyana.

· Experience in a Tourism related environment preferred.

· Guest services and hotel/resort management experience a definite asset.

· Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, out of town/country.

· Oversee the Baganara day-to-day guest services and ensure that staff pay close attention to the needs of the guests.

· Liaise with the Baganara Sales and Reservations Coordinator to understand the specific needs, requirements and wishes of a specific group, conference, retreat, or individual guest.

· To communicate effectively with employees, guests, upper management.

· Communicate effectively with the Evergreen Tourism Managers to ensure that all guest and staff expectations are met.

· Inform all related personnel of confirmed bookings, arrangements for conferences and retreats, package tours, training sessions and Baganara bookings making full use of the White Board.
