Gulf And Maritime Inc  is one of the fastest growing freight forwarding companies in Guyana and we’re looking to add Sales Executives to our team. We’re looking for individuals with a passion for sales, building relationships and strong communication skills. As a Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for prospecting, engaging and closing new accounts, along with building and maintaining relationships with a customer base. Education & Experience:

5 CXC (inclusive of Math and English)

Qualifications:

·         Strong customer service and communication skills. Sales experience preferred.

·         High proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.

·         The ability to learn quickly and work efficiently as productivity goals must be met.

·         Good organizational skills as this position requires working with multiple departments and following up with clients and prospects.

·         The person in this role is responsible for having reliable transportation at time of hire.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Developing relationships with customers and generating new business.

·         Soliciting Gulf And Maritime Inc services which include Ocean Import, Air Import, Ocean Export, Air Export, Distribution & Warehousing, Transportation and Cargo Insurance and Customs Brokerage.

·         Responsible for meeting the monthly quotas given by Upper Management.

·         Assisting  Accounts with receivable tracking payments from customer base.

·         Forming a customer base by cold calling, issuing quotes, preparing bids and making formal presentations to prospective customers.

·         Monitor and follow up with all accounts.

·         Maintaining constant communication with the Operations/Customer Service Departments and overseas offices.
