Description

The Finance Manager is responsible for providing effective leadership to the finance team and for ensuring that all required policies are adhered to facilitate proper accounting systems and record keeping with a view to the completion of accurate and reliable accounting and financial reports. The Finance Manager is also responsible for ensuring delivery of the Department’s services to its customers in conformity with established standards, policies and business practices.

Requirements

  • MBA - Finance or completion of ACCA Level 3
  • 5 years’ experience in a related management/ supervision field
  • Strong Leadership skills and proven ability to lead an effective Finance Team
  • Must be customer-focused and able to work in a fast pace environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Service Excellence daily in keeping with the company’s established Customer Service Philosophy and Standards
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, invoicing, and other accounting transactions
  • Lead the Finance team including the inventory team
  • Establish effective relationships and contract outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, and other financial needs as necessary
  • Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
  • Seek out methods for minimizing financial risk to the company
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports
  • Maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting activities
