The Accounts Clerk reports directly to the Finance Manager.
Requirements
- 5 Subjects CXC (Inclusive of Maths and English)
- Knowledge of Accounting Software
- Computer Literate
- Basic Accounting Background
Responsibilities
•Payroll Process
Enter all signed intercompany invoices and journals.
Enter any other payroll related vouchers.
•Invocing Process
Enter all invoices.
•Petty Cash
Enter vouchers in accounting system.
• Data Entry
Ensure all daily transactions are entered into the system.
•Payments
Enter all payments to vendors.
Scan all documents.
Go to bank to withdraw funds.
Once approved, pay staff or vendors as required.
•Filing Dcouments
Ensure all doucments are filed away on a daily basis.
•Daily Electricity Checkes
Check both electricity meter and keep record of usage.
•Any other duties assigned.
