Performs a variety of Housekeeping and Administrative tasks and assists in the supervision of the housekeeping employees. Provides guidance to staff to ensure that high levels of cleanliness, quality and service are achieved and maintained.
Requirements
-At least 5 CSEC subjects inclusive of Mthaematics and English Language
-Previous experience will be an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of team members and management
-Must possess excellent customer service skills
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
-Ability to multitask
-Experience with typical equipment and machinery
-Demonstrate strong working knowledge of the principles of Environmental infection prevention and control
Responsibilities
-Thorough knowledge in all phases of housekeeping/ environmental services.
-Prepare duty roster, coordinating vacation/holiday time and reviewing daily adjustments in the work schedule.
- Effective organisational and analytical skills in conflict management, change management and issue resolution.
-Adhere to all the Hospital's safety, risk management, infection control and prevention standards. Promotes a culture of patient safety.
- Excellent customer service skills
-Ability to exhibit initiative, accountability, flexibility and good leadership skills.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of the cleaning and disinfection principles and requirements, proper chemical, equipment usage, maintenance of furniture, interior finishes, etc
- Prepare report to document results, collaborating with the Operations Manager to improve activities.
