Description

Manage business development process along with a team of business development assistants to ensure the company achieves its targets in all lines of businesses.

Liaison with international business managers of business units to manage leads for new  opportunities in the logistics business.

Developing leads into enquiries for bidding new jobs.

Managing the process of screening enquiries for bidding in line with the companys strategy, risk appetite, profit potential and cost/benefit analysis.

Liaison with  Operations, Finance and Corporate managers on the preparation and submission of risk-mitigated, competitive bids.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related field experience.

Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Must have a solid understanding of Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel.

Strong focus on customer satisfaction required.

Must have a current, valid international passport.

 

Responsibilities

Understand customer needs & communicate with internal and external stake-holders; assist in the development of solutions that satisfy those requirements to minimize potential gaps between expectations & delivery.

Customer Relationship Management aimed at securing repeat business.
