The Audit Supervisor will lead and manage the Audit Section which is responsible for verifying the accuracy of financial records and inventory while ensuring compliance with the company’s policies/procedures and conformity with accounting/auditing and legal requirements.
Passes of no less than five (5) CSEC (general proficiency level) subjects inclusive of English, Mathematics and Accounts.
Completion of CAT, a certificate or Diploma in Auditing would be an asset.
No less than five (5) years related experience in a similar or equivalent position.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft office Suite and Quickbooks or related software.
Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.
Ability to act with discretion, tact, and professionalism in all situations.
Ability to maintain records and produce reports
Extreme attention to details and strong respect for the confidentiality of information
Planning and conducting routine and special audits
Conducting checks on the receiving and loading/delivery process of goods at the warehouse and store.
Reviewing work of audit staff to ensure accuracy, providing guidance and resolving inconstancies as needed.
Performing inventory counts.
Reconciling inventory counts to book balances and recommending corrective action.
Compiling data and preparing audit reports.
Performing other related duties as assigned.
