Description

Under the direction of the Managing Director, the Financial Specialist will provide direct support for client billing, systems management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger work activities in support of company’s operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required or equivalent education/work experience.
  • Experience required is from two to four full years of employment in management or supervisory, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Working Experience in Peachtree Accounting or QuickBooks

Responsibilities

• Complying with all company, local and national accounting and financial regulations.

• Directing financial planning and strategy.

• Analyzing and reporting on financial performance.

• Overseeing audit and tax functions.

• Developing and implementing accounting policies.

• Preparing forecasts and comprehensive budgets.

• Reviewing departmental budgets.

• Performing asset verification

• Gathering, analyzing, and interpreting relevant financial data.

• Evaluating and optimizing financial controls and procedures.

• Overseeing all finance activities is completed by the finance team members

• Managing accounts receivable and payable

• Keeping records of invoices and tax payments, as well as reviewing and processing reimbursements.

• Preparing income statements/profit & loss statements, balance sheets, accounts receivable aging, accounts payable aging and cash flow statements.

• Identifying financial liabilities and performing risk analysis on liquidity and cash flow.

• Resolving account discrepancies and performing accounts/bank reconciliations.

• Preparing financial reports, including projected returns on investment and growth rates.

• Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in financial administration.

• Assist with the preparation of monthly taxation such as NIS, PAYE, VAT, Corporate tax reports.

• Prepare monthly ledgers and journals
