Responsible for providing administrative and logistcis support to the Commercial Team in the execution of the agreed sales and marketing initiatives.


  1. Advanced Diploma in Marketing or Management.
  2. 1-3 years’ administrative experience.
  3. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  4. Experience with business software such as Oracle and SAP a plus.
  5. Good organizational and planning skills.
  6. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  8. Ability to problem solve using an array of analytical skills, logic and reasoning to identify and communicate solutions to any issues or problems encountered.
  9. Ability to work well under pressure with demonstrated time-management skills (multi-tasking, setting priorities and meeting strict deadlines).
  10. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  11. Excellent customer service skills.
  12. Strong consumer and product awareness.


 Routine: Daily

  1. Faithfully follow all of the company's HSE Policies/Rules and COVID-19 Protocols; whether on site at TGI, on the road, or visiting with a customer.
  2. Check/Respond to business emails and Take/Return business calls, timely.
  3. Follow-up on Accounts Receivable concerning customers to whom you are assigned, and recommend any alternative course of collection action/s based on new considerations or developments learnt, to the Commercial Coordinator.
  4. Liaise closely with local and foreign members within our Group Of Companies, pertaining to all necessary logistical arangements to be made and documentation to be had, so as to ensure the timely arrival and release of vessels comprising any/all TGI product offerings, to our Guyana Micro Markets (Georgetown/Berbice/Essequibo/Linden).
  5. Liaise closely with all third-party contacts (Wharf Owners/Administrators, Contractors, etcetera) as required, with respect to vessels shipments to all ports within Guyana. This includes verification of damaged products on vessels.
  6. Arrange the timely stock movement of TGI's product offerings via sea or overland as applicable, either among TGI's operations sites and/or from TGI's operations sites to domestic  ports. (Overland Examples: TGI Warehouse/Depot to TGI Warehouse/Depot, TGI Main Georgetown Terminal to TGI to Warehouse/Depot; Sea Examples: TGI Main Georgetown Terminal to Berbice Port).
  7. Work along with TGI's Production Coordinator - Concrete Solutions, providing primary support with respect to the sourcing, planning, and execution, of all concrete jobs.
  8. Attend all meetings, as applicable to job post.
  9. Perform any other job-related functions, as required.

Routine: Monthly 

  1. Faithfully follow all of the company's HSE Policies/Rules and COVID-19 Protocols; whether on site at TGI, on the road, or visiting with a customer.
  2. Complete all HSE and COVID-19 related Reports and Activities as assigned, timely (VFLs, NMHAs, Scorecard, etcetera).
  3. Actively participate and provide input on Commercial Strategic Planning initiatives.
  4. Source vessels to execute domestic shipments, s may be needed from time to time.Review and approve all overland and sea freight invoices, concerning vessels.
  5. Based on projected stock position due to logistics/supply considerations, and taking into account Commercial sales projections provided by the Commercial Coordinator, complete monthly then submit Best Estimates - Sales (All Products).
  6. Execute Relationship Management visis to out of town micro-markets (Berbice, Essequibo, Linden), a minmum of once monthly per micro-market.
  7. Perform any other job-related functions, as required.

 Routine: Periodically

  1. Re-examination of existing Supply and Logistics Chain, with a view on determining whether or not there are opportunities for improvement, then submitting the associated recommendations to the Country Director and Commercial Coordinator
  2. Advise/Assist new or existing customers on the correct manner in which to fully complete an Application For Credit, bearing in mind the content of the TCL Guyana Incorporated's Credit Policies and Procedures.
  3. Provide support in the completion of the Annual Budget Estimates exercise, and sharing commercial input/insights.
  4. Liaise with all relevant members of our Group locally and internationally, concerning CAPEX-related matters that would have an impact on Supply/Logistics efficiencies.
  5. Represent the Company at business-related functions and events.
