Description

Enhance and extend the Company’s Pest Control business by representing the Company to clients, potential clients, the public at large, and by achieving agreed sales targets.

Person Specification

  • Work Experience and Skills

    • At least 3 years’ experience in Sales environment. 

      • Preferably experience in Pest Control and service industry experience

    • Proven track record in meeting and exceeding targets

    • Strong customer relations and networking capability

    • Able to operate as part of a management team

  • Academic Qualifications/Trade Qualifications

    • Formal business certification/training – business administration, sales/marketing or other similar qualification

  • Knowledge and Experience

    • Business and commercial acumen.

    • Comfortable with social selling tools

    • Understanding of the direct selling culture

    • Sales strategy and planning ability

    • Knowledge of and experience with customer relationship management systems

    • Strong market knowledge

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Strong influencing, relationship-building and negotiation skills

  • Personal Circumstances

    • MUST HAVE a valid Driver's License. 

    • Able to travel as required to fulfill the role.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve the agreed targets for sales and sales activities as specified by the Sales Manager.

  • Proactively prospect for new customers to grow their portfolio.

  • Deliver surveys, quotes and leads against established timelines and specifications.

  • Carry out visits and surveys for prospective and existing customers against agreed specifications, processes and procedures.

  • Prepare and submit sales agreements following agreed procedures.

  • Report findings to prospects, present proposals, describe the benefits of the service and give the price for providing such services as required.

  • Negotiate prices and sales/service agreements to gain prospect acceptance and obtain authorization from clients.

  • Maintain and improve customer retention through creative and strategic selling strategies.

  • Ensure relevant reporting and administrative duties are completed by the agreed timelines.

  • Assist with the collection of debts when required.

  • Attend to all customer complaints as a matter of urgency and in full accordance with company policy.
