The Job

This position requires the applicant to be a highly motivated self-starter that has excellent communications skills and the ability to efficiently coordinate activities for desired results.  

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree in education, management, marketing, finance or related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
  • Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the local education and training sector

Responsibilities

The core responsibilities of this position are:

  • Coordinate the Institution’s varied training delivery portfolio to engender adaptability in dynamic environments
  • Ensure all business opportunities are explored and capitalised on
  • Actively seek and develop new business
  • Assist with the development of marketing strategies

Accountancy Training Centre is committed to providing relevant, effective, innovative and high quality financial and management training to our students through: Collaborating with students, staff, academic partners and the business community to promote high professional and ethical standards Ensuring accessibility to our services and programmes nationally and regionally Optimizing the use of technology and developing new methods to enhance our students’ ability to achieve the first time passes at their exams Ensuring our continued viability and development in the era of globalization in an environmentally responsible manner Realising the inspiration of ‘adding value to your future‘ ATC started in Camp Street, Georgetown in very confined accommodations, ATC commenced operations with approximately 25 students in two classrooms. Student numbers grew rapidly and continuous expansion was inevitable to accommodate the growing demand for quality tuition. However, the continuous expansion of ATC never compromised the quality of tuition provided to its students and was maintained by rigid quality control mechanisms coupled with the dedication and commitment of its lecturers. This resulted in high pass rates by its students and it also set the stage for compliance with international industry standards and allowed the Institution to be subsequently accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) as an Approved Learning Partner (ALP) and a Demand Computer Based Examination (CBE) centre for FIA/CAT & ACCA Courses, then by the Association of Business Executives (ABE) for all Levels 4 to 6 in 2012. In 2019, ATC was and is still the only BPP Tuition Solution Providers in Guyana as well for the Caribbean.
