Requirements

Qualification and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of one (1) year experience as a Quality Control Inspector.
  • Minimum of one (1) year related work experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in the Oil & Gas, Engineering, or related sector.
  • Background in using mechanical instruments
  • Any combination of related work experience at a similar technical level.

Knowledge Skills and Attributes

  • Analytical understanding of Engineering Drawings, Licensor specifications and OEM procedures/documents.
  • Must be able to maintain a digital management system.
  • Thorough knowledge of Quality tools
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving
  • Skills to operate the vast inventory of standard and premium gauges required for inspection and evaluation of products.
  • Math, Computer & Reporting- performing basic calculations as part of the Inspection Function.
  • Technical detail for generation of records and reports.
  • Interpersonal, integrity and reliability
  • Being available to work extended hours
  • Be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Effective time management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inspecting/testing products manufactured or repaired at the facility.
  • Plan, perform and follow up assurance activities.
  • Conducting tests, analyzing measurements, and overseeing production processes
  • Active reporting of any quality issues to assigned Project QA/QC Manager. Raises Corrective Action/Non-conformance reports
  • Ensure implementation of relevant contract requirements.
  • Ensure that product identification and traceability is maintained throughout all processes.
  • Receiving/Incoming inspection of Customer Supplied Product (CSP) & Raw material in accordance with required document procedures.
  • Field inspection of company owned or CSP on location outside of our facility in accordance with relevant product specifications or Customer requirements/specifications.
  • Ensure that product identification and traceability is maintained throughout all processes.
  • Identify, segregate and report nonconforming product as well as generate Internal Non-Conformances.
  • Verify final markings applied are legible and in accordance with documented procedures.
  • Working along with team members to achieve the objectives of the unit
  • Report and manage deviations and related mitigating measures, identify non conformances in accordance with project procedures
  • Calibration of IMTE when necessary and when competence and capability exist.
