The Health and Safety and Environmental Officer will be responsible for monitoring the safety on projects to ensure that client HSE requirements are met and maintains the Safety Policy of the company.

• Construction related certificate or diploma (NEBOSH or OSHA compliant).
• 1 year experience in the Construction field.
• Valid driving permit.

1. Consistent implementation of both Company and Client HSE policies and procedures.
2. Implements the recent Covid 19 Awarness, Prevention and Social Distancing policies.
3. Conducts project site inductions and awareness sessions for all new employees, site workers and visitors.
4. Conducts daily JSA and Toolbox Talks inclusive of risk assessment and preventative measures.
5. Conducts checks and follows up on all site staff and workers regarding PPE and safe work practices.
6. Implements safety compliance checks to heavy equipment, plant, mechanical and electrical tools.
7. Compiles reports and documentation on all site related non-conformance or safety infractions.
8. Assists in the preparation of documentation for tender submissions and traffic management plans. 
9. Prepares legible project safety reports and attend meetings as required.
10. Embraces the role of site communications and relations representative with third parties.
11. Assists with engineering support activities as required.
