Description

Our ideal Energy Engineer is a passionate team player who develops and designs proposals for the sale and installation of domestic and commercial alternative energy systems and energy efficiency solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in either Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics or similar field of study.
  • Technical Certification in Project Management, MS Office & Projects, Advanced Excel, AUTOCAD / Sketchup / PVsyst / Helioscope / PV SOL or similar tools.
  • Professional training in Soft Skills Development, NABCEP Certification, Health and Safety, NEC Code Requirements would be an asset
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in design and installation of Solar PV systems, construction, civil works, electrical installations, and photovoltaic systems.
  • Proficiency in use of MS Project and AutoCAD
  • Electrical Installer’s License would be an asset
  • Driver’s License – Car & Van

Responsibilities

  • He / she possesses strong people management skills which will be necessary for success in supervising the construction and installation of photovoltaic plants, coordinating relationships with subcontractors and Clients.
  • Excellent time management skills and sound judgement are requirements for the management of resources under their charge (subcontractors, budget, equipment, and materials) to satisfy the technical, cost and time requirements of the projects under their supervision, as he / she will oversee the complete process of projects and installations with clients until the final delivery.
  • His / her sound knowledge of all aspects of Photovoltaic Systems and Renewable Energy/Energy Efficient Technologies will underpin informed evaluation and decision-making, and timely, responsive proposals to our client base.
  • Our engineer will be a key player in the creation of cost and revenue budgets for our projects.
