Axess Guyana Inc. seeks to employ persons with a valid IRATA Level 1 certificate with no less than 500 hours to join our team.

Should an applicant not have practised in six months, the applicant will undergo practical refresher training with a safety leader in a controlled environment before any assignment.

The Rope Access Technicians carry out a wide variety of inspection, maintenance, and repair services using rope and related equipment to access and complete work tasks at considerable heights.  Because of the potential hazards associated with this work, it is essential that technicians are properly trained in the use of the methods of access that they will use.  A formal grading structure where workers are grouped into three grades, depending upon their experience and level of assessment.  The basic requirements for the three levels are as follow

Minimum Certificates needed:

- All IRATA Certs

- Logbook

- OPITO FOET (CA-EBS)

- OGUK

- NDT

– MT2 (Mandatory), UT-M2, UT-FLAW2, DP2 (Preferably PCN, but ASNT will do) (Must have a combination of two disciplines)

- 500 hours

- TB

- Yellow Fever Vaccine

- Seaman’s Book

- Recent Police Certificate

- Fully vaccinated COVID card

• Attitude & aptitude for working at height.
• Physically and medically fit.
• Understand the limitations of their level of training with regard to work practices
• Understand the various uses of the equipment they use and its limitations
• Inspect their equipment
• Maintain and store the equipment they use
