Qualification and Experience

Atleast a Diploma in Marketing and 5 years experience in similar position.

Skills

  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Working knowledge of Oracle and/or SAP software 
  • Multitasking

Responsibilities

MAIN DUTIES  AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Routine: Daily

  1. Faithfully follow all of the company's HSE Policies/Rules and COVID-19 Protocols; whether on site at TGI, on the road, or visiting with a customer.
  2. Check/Respond to business emails and Take/Return business calls, timely.
  3. Follow-up on Accounts Receivable concerning customers to whom you are assigned, and recommend any alternative course of collection action/s based on new considerations or developments learnt, to the Commercial Coordinator.
  4. Execute Field Visits to Existing and Potential cement/concrete/aggregates/admixtures/thinset customers, in alignment with the pre-planned Weekly Tactical Agenda approved by Commercial Coordinator: All Customer Segments - Demerara and Linden Micro Markets
  5. Create and/or Update informaton gather from Field Visits conducted, into Commercial Business Intelligence Tool.
  6. Pursue new Purchase Orders from existing or new customers.
  7. Log all customer complaints received in the system, then follow-through to ensure a timely resolution.
  8. Perform any other job-related functions, as required.


Routine: Monthly

  1. Faithfully follow all of the company's HSE Policies/Rules and COVID-19 Protocols; whether on site at TGI, on the road, or visiting with a customer.
  2. Complete all HSE and COVID-19 related Reports and Activities as assigned, timely (VFLs, NMHAs, Scorecard, etcetera).
  3. Execute bi-weekly Field Visits to Existing and Potential cement/concrete/aggregates/admixtures/thinset customers, in alignment with the pre-planned Weekly Tactical Agenda approved by Commercial Coordinator: All Customer Segments - Berbice and Essequibo Micro Markets.
  4. Attend and actively participate in Commercial Team Meeting, led by Commercial Coordinator.
  5. Assist Commercial Coordinator with the planning and execution of Marketing Events and Activities (Trade and Vulnerable Road User Promos, Sponsorships, Customer Appreciation initiatives etcetera).
  6. Perform any other job-related functions, as required.


Periodically

Provide relief in the capacity of Despatcher, fulfilling the roles and responsibilities of the position when the permanent Despatcher is Sick, on Personal Leave, or Vacation Leave.

Advise/Assist new or existing customers on the correct manner in which to fully complete an Application For Credit, bearing in mind the content of the TCL Guyana Incorporated's Credit Policies and Procedures.

Remuneration

Commensurate with qualification and experience.
