To provide a safe, efficient and economic supervision of the Flight Operations departments, Calculate distance, flying time, fuel requirement and payload for off base flight operations if required, Liaise with the Pilot- in-Command and Duty Engineer so as to effect safe and expeditious operations, You are expected to travel as the need arises on behalf of the Company to attend meetings, customers, regulatory bodies, prospective clients, along with training to both offsite and head office locations within the execution of your duties, among other responsiblities.

1. Diploma  in Management.
2. Five (5) years’ experience in an Airline Industry, three (3) years of which should be in a Senior Flight Operations position.
3. Attendance at Supervisory Training Courses.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. The primary role of the Flight Operations Department is to provide customer service (during check-in, to inbound and outbound passengers) and to provide a safe, efficient and economic supervision of the Flight Operations departments. . 
2. Calculate distance, flying time, fuel requirement and payload for off base flight operations if required.
3. Liaise with the Pilot- in-Command and Duty Engineer so as to effect safe and expeditious operations.
4. You are expected to travel as the need arises on behalf of the Company to attend meetings, customers, regulatory bodies, prospective clients, along with training to both offsite and head office locations within the execution of your duties.
5. Ensure information is correctly displayed and updated on the Operations department and Line Maintenance daily schedule boards.
6. Ensure flight crews are informed of their schedule for the following day.
7. Prioritize so that Aircraft are prepared and fuelled in a timely manner prior to flight.
8. Shall perform the duties of the Flight Operations Officer if required.
