We're hiring a full-time senior Google Ads specialist to own the paid search account of a growing multi-location business, turning ad spend into qualified appointments that convert to sales. You'll manage a substantial and increasing monthly budget across Search, Performance Max, and Shopping, and take responsibility for ad copy, conversion tracking, landing-page performance, and weekly reporting. This is an ownership role for someone who spots problems early, fixes them independently, and measures the results, not a junior, reporting-only, administrative, or social media position.
At least 5 years of hands-on Google Ads management experience.
Experience personally owning an account with more than $50,000 in monthly Google Ads spend.
Demonstrated results in lead generation; multi-location business experience is strongly preferred.
Strong Search and Performance Max experience, plus Merchant Center and Shopping knowledge.
Strong working knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and offline conversion measurement.
Excellent written English and the ability to produce customer-facing ad copy.
Strong analytical judgment and clear communication.
1. Google Ads strategy and management
Manage and optimize Search, Performance Max, and Shopping campaigns where applicable.
Review budgets, bidding, search terms, negative keywords, geographic targeting, and performance by showroom.
Identify wasted spend and opportunities to increase qualified appointments.
Work within approved budgets and obtain approval for changes outside agreed limits.
Maintain a clear change log explaining what changed, why, and the results.
2. Ad copy and assets
Learn our products, pricing, customer priorities, showroom experience, and seasonal wedding demand.
Write and maintain accurate headlines, descriptions, sitelinks, price assets, and other relevant advertising assets.
Ensure our main product categories and starting prices are appropriately represented.
Proactively check for repetitive messaging, outdated offers, inaccurate claims, and incorrect landing pages.
Run structured tests and explain what the results mean.
3. Conversion tracking and lead quality
Verify that conversion tracking works correctly and identify duplicate or misleading conversion counts.
Work with our developer on Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Ads tracking, and offline conversion measurement.
Connect advertising performance to booked appointments, attendance, purchases, and revenue where the data allows.
Evaluate actual business outcomes, not just clicks or Google-reported conversions.
4. Landing pages and booking performance
Review the customer journey from ad click to booked appointment.
Identify issues with messaging, mobile usability, page relevance, and booking friction.
Give our developer and creative team clear, actionable briefs.
Verify completed changes and measure their impact.
5. Reporting and accountability
Provide concise weekly reporting on spend, appointments, cost per appointment, appointment quality, and sales outcomes where available.
Review performance by showroom and explain what is working, what is underperforming, and what should happen next.
Flag significant problems promptly rather than waiting for a weekly meeting.
Monitor relevant competitor advertising and offers and recommend practical responses.
