Retail Sales Associate

We are looking for a friendly and motivated Sales Assistant to join our team at The Leather Shop! In this role, you will assist customers in finding the perfect leather product, handle transactions, and help keep the store looking its best.

• Friendly, approachable, and well-presented

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions

• Comfortable using a POS system

• CXC subjects including Math & English

• Prior retail experience is a plus but not required

• Access to transportation of live in close proximity to Giftland a plus

• Greet and assist customers with product selection and purchases

• Operate the POS system and handle transactions accurately

• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store

• Build product knowledge and offer styling advice and care tips

• Restock shelves, support inventory counts, and keep the storeroom tidy

• Promote current collections and special offers

• Ensure every customer has a polished, personal shopping experience
