Flight Operations Officer

A Flight Operations Officer is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and timely coordination of daily flight operations. The role involves monitoring flight schedules, coordinating with pilots and operational departments, preparing operational documentation, communicating flight updates, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and aviation regulations.

The Flight Operations Officer assists with flight planning, passenger and cargo coordination, weather monitoring, crew coordination, and maintaining accurate operational records. The position also requires effective communication with pilots, ground staff, maintenance personnel, and external agencies to ensure smooth operational flow and minimal disruptions.

The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to operational changes and emergencies. Knowledge of aviation operations, scheduling systems, and regulatory requirements is considered an asset.

• Five (5) Subjects CXC inclusive of Mathematics and English.
• Previous working experience in the same or a related field would be as asset.
• Computer proficient in MS office and excel and general internet applications.
• Ability to work well without supervision.
• Must possess good oral and written communications skills and problem solving skills.
• Must be able to work shifts.
• Must be able to work remote locations.

• Responsible for the safe and efficient handling of passengers' baggages.
• Supervise the loading of all baggages.
• Producing accurately compiled load sheet and reports.
