WAREHOUSE ATTENDANT

Serves customers by providing product and service information; acts as a liaison between customer and warehouse department, assist with orders, billing, cancellations and other queries. Monitors inventory levels and maintain stock levels, ensures items are in designated bin locations. Items are properly tagged and labeled with Description, Bin location, Item code, Quantities.

Minimum of five(5) CXC Subjects or Experience in similar field.

1. Reading production schedule, customer order, work order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.

2. Conveying materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.

3. Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, color or product code.

4. filling requisitions, work orders, or request for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributing items to production workers or assembly line.

5. Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.

6. Marking materials with identifying information.

7. Opening and offloading of bales, crates and other containers.

8. Recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

9. Weighing or counting items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards.

10. Arranging stocks and or parts in specified sequence for picking by other workers.

11. Picking specific goods according to picking slips, quotations or invoices information.

12. Will be required to attend to customers on the counter and over the phone when called upon.

13. Will be required to do heaving lifting.
