PFSO Officer

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented PFSO Officer to oversee and maintain security operations at the port facility in compliance with the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing security procedures, conducting inspections, monitoring access control, and ensuring the safety of personnel, vessels, and port assets.

• PFSO certification is required.

• Previous experience in port, maritime, or security operations is an asset.

• Knowledge of ISPS Code and maritime security regulations.

• Strong communication, leadership, and report-writing skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.

• Implement and maintain port facility security plans and procedures.

• Monitor access control and ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.

• Conduct regular security inspections and risk assessments.

• Coordinate security drills, exercises, and emergency response activities.

• Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed reports.

• Ensure compliance with ISPS Code requirements and company policies.

• Liaise with port authorities, law enforcement, and relevant stakeholders on security matters.

• Train staff on security awareness and emergency procedures.
