Surveillance/CCTV Operator

 Responsible for the continuous real-time surveillance of company premises via CCTV systems to ensure the safety of personnel, assets, and property.

·         High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read, write and document technical information accurately

·         Experience in the security field or a security operations room will be an asset

·         Ability to operate computer systems, CCTV software and communication equipment

·         Exceptional attentiveness and the ability to maintain concentration for extended periods while multitasking across various monitors.

·         Strong verbal communication skills to provide clear, concise instructions during high-pressure situations.

·         Conduct continuous monitoring of multiple CCTV feeds to proactively identify security threats, suspicious behavior, or violations of company SOPs.

·         Perform regular checks on all surveillance hardware and communication tools to ensure 100% operational readiness and report technical faults immediately.

·         Record and report activities, maintain logbooks, complete occurrence/incident reports

·         Utilize VHF radios and telephones to communicate observations with security and other staff and assist in calling emergency numbers.
