The Circulation clerk plays a vital role in our media operations by overseeing the efficient distribution of our daily newspaper and managing our growing subscriber base. This position is responsible for compiling, organizing, and maintaining precise records related to newspaper delivery across all distribution channels, including independent distributors, retail vendors, and commercial resale outlets. The ideal candidate ensures that our logistics run smoothly and logistics partners are fully aligned with our daily printing output.
Applications must have at least 5 CSEC subjects with Grades 1 to 3 in Maths and English.
Must be computer literate with excellent proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
Must be results driven possess the ability to manage records well.
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
Compiles and manages records concerned with the distribution of newspapers to distributors, vendors, resale outlets, and subscribers.
Checks production and delivery notes against the print order on a daily basis.
Tracks subscription files for payments and sends letters to solicit renewals for expiring subscriptions.
Solicits new subscriptions via letters, telephone calls, and in-person visits.
Maintains accurate records of all subscribers.
Conducts continuous telephone surveys to gather feedback from both readers and non-readers to help guide future improvements.
