Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, with alternating Saturdays off
Core Hours: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: Structured GYD salary scale based on competence, performance, and systems mastery- Min 280K (Gross) Ranged Upwards

JSB Investments Inc. Group of Companies is seeking a strong, disciplined, and highly competent Group Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across our group of companies.

This is not a passive desk-only HR role. We are looking for a serious HR professional who understands structure, compliance, attendance control, performance management, disciplinary documentation, field operations, and executive reporting.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced Guyanese industrial environment involving construction, logistics, marine operations, ready-mix concrete, trading, field teams, technical staff, and multiple operating sites.

Required Experience & Skills

Applicants should have:

✔ Proven experience in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Workforce Administration, or HR Operations
✔ Strong knowledge of Guyana labour practices, employment records, and disciplinary procedures
✔ Experience managing attendance, staff files, contracts, payroll support, and performance reviews
✔ Strong reporting, investigation, communication, and follow-up skills
✔ Confidence using HR, attendance, biometric, payroll, or appraisal software
✔ Ability to work across office, field, industrial, and operational environments
✔ Ability to handle confidential matters with maturity and discretion
✔ Strong command of policy enforcement, staff accountability, and supervisor coordination

Experience in construction, logistics, marine operations, manufacturing, transportation, mining, ready-mix concrete, or industrial services would be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

The Group HR Manager will be responsible for building and enforcing a structured HR system across the group, ensuring that people, payroll, attendance, performance, discipline, compliance, and documentation are properly managed.

This role requires someone who can lead from the front, work closely with senior management, support supervisors, hold staff accountable, and ensure that HR decisions are backed by proper records, facts, and follow-through.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

✅ Manage group-wide HR operations across multiple companies and work sites
✅ Maintain strict control of employee files, contracts, attendance records, and HR documentation
✅ Oversee onboarding, staff deployment, training follow-ups, and performance tracking
✅ Monitor employee attendance and overtime through digital HR and biometric systems
✅ Support payroll verification by ensuring hours worked are properly recorded and justified
✅ Manage performance appraisal systems and ensure supervisors complete evaluations on time
✅ Support disciplinary procedures with proper documentation and legal compliance
✅ Conduct site visits to verify attendance, conduct, staffing needs, and supervisor reports
✅ Coordinate HR matters involving local and expatriate employees
✅ Hold managers and supervisors accountable for following approved HR procedures
✅ Prepare clear HR reports for senior management
✅ Ensure workplace discipline, fairness, confidentiality, and operational accountability
