Description

The Marketing Assistant will play a key role in executing ShawCorp’s digital marketing strategy. This position requires a highly creative individual with strong graphic design skills, hands-on experience with Canva, and the ability to analyze performance metrics to optimize campaigns.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with additional design tools (Adobe Suite is a plus)

  • Knowledge of content marketing strategies

  • Basic video editing skills

  • Familiarity with scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer)

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design & Content Creation

  • Design high-quality marketing materials using Canva (social media posts, flyers, ads, presentations, etc.)

  • Maintain consistent brand identity across all visual content

  • Create engaging graphics, short videos, and promotional assets

Social Media Management

  • Plan, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Write compelling captions and adapt messaging for different audiences

  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and build online community presence

 

Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Track and analyze social media and campaign performance

  • Generate reports on key metrics (reach, engagement, conversions, etc.)

  • Use insights to improve content strategy and campaign effectiveness

Marketing Support

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns

  • Conduct basic market and competitor research

  • Support email marketing and promotional initiatives


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience using Canva for graphic design (portfolio required)

  • Strong eye for design, layout, and branding

  • Experience managing social media accounts for a business or brand

  • Basic understanding of social media analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics, etc.)

  • Excellent written communication skills

  • Highly organized with attention to details
