Forklift Operator

Caribbean Internatiion Distributors Inc. is seeking a dynamic forklift Operator and other material-handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently within the warehouse or yard.

• Forklift license operation (or willing to get license)

  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, logistics, or industrial environment

  • Sound knowledge of material handling procedures and warehouse operations

  • Ability to read and follow instructions, work orders, and safety guidelines

  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety standards

  • Strong attention to detail with accurate record-keeping skills

  • Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials safely

  • Good coordination and spatial awareness

  • Basic mechanical knowledge to identify equipment issues

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors

• Coordinate with the shipping department to unload incoming shipments and prepare outgoing goods by loading trucks

• Sort and organize offloaded goods, securely package them onto pallets, and place them onto designated racks

• Accurately document and track warehouse locations for all stored items

• Complete daily task lists efficiently with no discrepancies or material handling errors

• Transport materials to various locations within the facility as required

• Offload containers and assist with receiving operations when necessary

• Optimize loads to maximize operational efficiency and space utilization

• Adhere to production schedules to support timely operations

• Follow all safety management standards and operating procedures at all times
