Description
IT Technician is a professional who is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing hardware & software components of the organization’s computers. The IT Technician also support these systems through remote access as needed by management teams within the company.
Requirements
Diploma in Computer Science;
A+ Certification and networking would be an asset;
Knowledge of PBX systems would be an asset;
Knowledge of unifi products/Visual systems would be an asset;
Basic Electrician qualifications would be an asset
Responsibilities
Repairing any damaged cables
Locating and replacing any damaged equipment (splitters, amplifiers)
Running ethernet cables to any new location which in most cases, are through ceiling.
Troubleshooting individual TVs.
Troubleshooting individual PCS, when the situation of disconnection arises.
Monitoring the network for intrusion maintenance
In the event of a Function, Overseeing Club Next’s Sound System is needed
Maintain music system in the GYM
Maintain and Monitor AV System in Conference Hall, which includes 18 ceiling Speakers, 11 Desk Microphones, five (5) projectors, five (5) TVs on stands, 100 Wireless receivers, four (4) Translation stations, Four Wireless Microphones, Music Rack with Amplifier, Mixer.
Constant maintenance, upgrades and repairs to Back Office Equipment, i.e. PCs, Printers, Scanners, Phones, TVs
