Inventory & Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for a highly organized and results-driven Inventory & Supply Chain Manager to oversee warehouse and inventory operations across our retail network. This role ensures accurate stock control, efficient movement of goods, and strong process compliance

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in inventory, warehouse, or supply chain management

  • Experience in retail or multi-location operations is a plus

  • Strong knowledge of inventory systems (e.g., Lightspeed or similar POS/ERP platforms)

  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and tools

  • Proficient in Excel (e.g., basic formulas, data tracking, reporting)

  • Comfortable using digital tools for inventory tracking, reporting, and communication

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues

  • Proven leadership and team management experience

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven

Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations

  • Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch

  • Ensure proper labeling, categorization, and organization of goods

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse

2. Receiving & Verification

  • Ensure all deliveries match purchase orders, invoices, and packing lists

  • Verify quantities and SKUs before system entry

  • Record all goods accurately in the system

  • Report and coordinate resolution of discrepancies with relevant teams

3. Dispatch & Stock Transfers

  • Manage stock transfers (warehouse to stores and inter-store)

  • Ensure accurate picking, packing, and documentation

  • Monitor timely and complete deliveries

  • Ensure all movements are properly recorded in the system

4. Inventory Control & Accuracy

  • Monitor stock levels and movement across all locations

  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, negative inventory, and variances

  • Maintain strict control over inventory adjustments

5. Replenishment Execution

  • Execute stock replenishment plans in coordination with the Inventory Analyst

  • Prioritize urgent and high-demand items

  • Ensure timely fulfillment of transfer requests

6. Stock Counts & Audits

  • Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic full inventory audits

  • Ensure all counts are accurately recorded

  • Investigate and resolve variances

  • Support independent audit requirements

7. Loss Prevention & Returns Management

  • Implement controls to minimize shrinkage, theft, and losses

  • Manage returns, damaged goods, and supplier claims

  • Ensure proper documentation and system tracking

8. Process Compliance & System Discipline

  • Enforce adherence to inventory procedures and system usage

  • Ensure all transactions follow approved workflows (POs, transfers, adjustments)

  • Train staff on inventory processes and best practices

9. Team Supervision

  • Supervise warehouse personnel (receiving, dispatch, and control roles)

  • Set clear responsibilities and performance expectations

  • Conduct regular briefings, training, and performance reviews

10. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Report on inventory accuracy, stock movement, and discrepancies

  • Identify operational issues and implement improvements

  • Collaborate with management to enhance efficiency and controls
