Crown Hotel Guyana is currently seeking a competent and experienced Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting overall food service operations within the hotel
Proven experience as a Chef or Cook (hotel or restaurant experience preferred)
Sound knowledge of Guyanese and Caribbean cuisine
Ability to prepare a variety of dishes (local and international)
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Food safety certification is an asset
Prepare and present meals in accordance with hotel standards
Plan menus and daily meal offerings
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices
Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Work efficiently to meet guest demands in a timely manner
Crown Hotel Guyana is a boutique luxury hotel located in Providence, East Bank, Georgetown, Guyana. Owned by a Guyanese businessman, we opened last year as part of the Crown Hotel chain in the Caribbean. This location offers 70 rooms equipped with smart TVs, safes, and ironing facilities, plus an outdoor pool, a restaurant, and free high-speed Wi-Fi. Rates start around $120 per night, and the hotel is known for its convenient airport access and welcoming staff.
