Campus Security Officer

Praetorian Executive Protection Services Inc. is seeking professional, disciplined, and customer-focused individuals to join our growing team.
The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, visitors, and property within the campus compound.

• Minimum secondary school education or equivalent.

• Previous experience in security, military, police, or law enforcement is considered an asset.

• Strong observation and situational awareness skills.

• Good written and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

• Physically fit and capable of standing or patrolling for extended periods.

• Basic computer literacy and report-writing skills.

• Ability to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.

• Conduct routine patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, dormitories, and perimeter locations.

• Monitor and control access points to ensure only authorized persons enter campus facilities.

• Respond promptly and professionally to emergencies, incidents, alarms, and suspicious activities.

• Prepare accurate incident, occurrence, and daily activity reports.

• Enforce campus rules, regulations, and security procedures.

• Monitor CCTV systems and report security concerns to supervisors.

• Assist students, staff, and visitors with directions, safety concerns, and emergency support.

• Coordinate with emergency services and law enforcement when necessary.

• Perform bag checks, visitor screening, and vehicle inspections where required.

• Ensure all assigned equipment is properly maintained and accounted for.

• Maintain a professional appearance and high standard of conduct at all times.
