We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Clerk to support the day-to-day operations of the accounting department. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping and timely processing of transactions.
Diploma or certificate in Accounting, completion of CAT and or pursuing ACCA
Previous experience in an accounting role is an asset
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational and time-management skills
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
Process daily orders, payments, and expense reports
Perform daily audit verification
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
Reconcile general ledger accounts
Prepare and update spreadsheets, reports, and financial data
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities including stock counts
Perform general administrative duties within the accounting department and other duties assigned by the Accountant
