Core Responsibilities:
1. Lead the Inventory and Production teams as per business objectives.
2. Support the functioning and running of the supply chain and production processes at every point so that products and services can consistently be delivered on time in full.
3. Effectively delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
4. Ensure the Sales Operations objectives are met or exceeded.
5. Ensure compliance with all aspects of risk management including loss prevention, facility maintenance, environmental, health, and safety guidelines.
6. Ensure proper inventory levels of products, materials, equipment and other related items.
Qualifications / Experience:
· A Bachelor’s Degree in Business / Supply Chain / Engineering or related field, with at
least 5 years’ experience in an Operations role.
OR
· 8 years of knowledge and proven experience of working in the Paint industry or in Operations along with a Diploma in Business Management / Supply Chain / Engineering.
Skills, Competencies and Requirements:
1. Knowledge and experience in operations and plant maintenance.
2. A “make it happen” attitude, with willingness and ability to “get grease under the fingernails”.
3. Troubleshoot skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and compressed air systems.
4. High level of interpersonal, relationship-building, communication, and leadership skills.
5. Strategic, proactive and results oriented.
6. Sound knowledge of Microsoft office applications and Sage 300 System.
7. Focused on safety and efficient processes.
8. Knowledge of the paint industry would be an asset.
