The position shall cover the following areas:
The Junior HR Clerk performs a wide variety of administrative duties relating to filing correspondence and other records in alphabetical or numerical order or according to the filing system used.
Education:
·Must have 5 CXC subjects with passes in English A and Mathematics.
·Certificate/Diploma in Human Resources or related field.
·Knowledge of all relative computer applications.
Experience: At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar position.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
1. Develops procedures to control the creation, maintenance and use of company records.
2. Ensure all relative documents are filed in a timely manner.
3. Processes materials and prepares filing aids; monitors the indexing, storage and retrieval of documents.
Perform data entry functions such as inputting all employee’s information in the relevant applications/software (Techlify & Softworks).
5. Enrolling new employees into the company’s biometric clock.
6. Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage relative records.
7. Create, edit and track existing physical and digital records.
8. Ensuring that records are protected.
9.Dealing with enquiries and requests for information from management and staff.
10.Archiving finished data/records.
11. Any other tasks assigned from time to time
