Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team in the automotive industry. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Accounting Department, ensuring accurate financial recordkeeping, and contributing to the overall financial health of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3-5 years experience in a similar role is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

1. Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

2. Perform reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger accounts.

3. Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgeting and forecasting reports.

4. Process and review financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures.

5. Generate and distribute monthly financial reports to management.

6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and documentation.

7. Support the accounting team in month-end and year-end closing processes.
