NATURE AND SCOPE OF JOB SHIFT DETAILS
The Senior Accounts Clerk performs a variety of Accounting, Bookkeeping, and Financial tasks. Additionally, the Senior Accounts Clerk provides accounting and clerical assistance to the accounting department; this involves typing accurately and preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of related work experience.
Level 3 CAT/FIA.
5 successful passes or more at CSEC or equivalent.
Knowledge of QuickBooks Online/Desktop
Excellent computer and administrative skills.
A strong work ethic.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Summarize current financial status by collecting information, and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.
Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
Maintain accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
Preparing pay statements.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Any other assigned tasks.
