Description

Distribution Services Limited (DSL), a subsidiary of Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) is seeking applications from interested persons with the requisite qualifications and experience, for the post of Cashier at our DSL Berbice Operation.     

Requirements

1.     A minimum of five (5) CSEC passes, including Mathematics and English, grades 1 to 3. 

2.     Experience as a cashier would be an asset.

3.     Excellent written and verbal communication.

4.     Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  1. Ensuring that all payments are balanced at the end of the day and reporting any discrepancies to management.

  2. Staying informed about products, promotions, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.

  3. Following company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, customer service, and safety.

  4. Ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and that customers leave satisfied with their shopping experience.
