This professional oversees the seamless operation of a diverse fleet, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Your responsibilities encompass comprehensive management of acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement, and disposal processes within the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) domain. Additionally, the Fleet Manager will serves as the primary liaison for all matters about the vehicle fleet and its operations, maintaining effective communication channels. Your expertise in navigating the unique challenges of the EPC sector ensures that fleet operations remain aligned with project timelines, budgetary constraints, and environmental considerations, thereby contributing to the overall success of the client.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, Supply Chain Management Business Administration, Automotive Technology, or another relevant field.

  • 4+ years experience.

  • Great written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in price, spec, and purchase or lease vehicles. Understand and track the total cost of ownership (TCO).

  • Exceptional organization, time management, and multitasking abilities.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Good problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

  • Basic math and data analysis skills.

  • Excellent leadership skills, including goal-setting, motivation, and training.

  • Expert knowledge of best driving, delivery, vehicle maintenance, and other industry practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and administers vehicle/equipment asset management processes from procurement to disposition.

  • Establish and monitor purchasing, operational, and replacement strategies and practices for the most cost-effective operations.

  • Dispatch fleet of professional drivers and work collaboratively with them and other operations personnel to provide safe, and on-time deliveries.

  • Managing vehicle licensure and registration.

  • Establishing efficient routes and transportation schedules.

  • Familiarity with transportation scheduling and management software.

  • Understanding of basic vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when major repairs are needed.

  • Ability to set and monitor a budget.
