Inventory Clerk/ Stores Man

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for tracking inventory levels, maintaining accurate records of stock, conducting regular inventory audits, and ensuring the proper receipt, storage, and distribution of materials. This role plays a key part in ensuring that inventory operations run smoothly and efficiently, minimizing stock discrepancies and supporting operational needs.

• High school diploma

• Proven experience as an inventory clerk or in a similar role.

• Strong attention to detail and mathematical accuracy.

• Good organizational and time-management skills.

• Basic computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel.

• Physical stamina to lift and move items as needed.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Maintain and update inventory records in the company’s inventory management system.

• Receive, label, and store incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders.

• Conduct routine and spot inventory counts to ensure accurate stock levels.

• Monitor and report low stock levels and assist in reordering supplies.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.

• Prepare inventory reports for management as required.

• Ensure all inventory is stored and handled in accordance with company procedures and safety standards.

• Assist in year-end or periodic inventory audits and reconciliations.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory areas.

• Liasing with Mechanics and Site foreman on a daily basis

• Procuring of Parts, Oils and Lubricants, fuel etc.

• Any other duties as directed by management
