The Accounts Clerk is responsible for supporting the finance team by performing a range of clerical and administrative tasks. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices and payments, reconciling accounts, and assisting with general accounting duties.
Five (5) Subjects at CXC inclusive of Mathematics, English and Principles of Accounts with at least a Grade II.
Pursuing CAT (Certified Accounting Technician
At least one year's experience in similar position
Process and record day-to-day financial transactions (e.g., accounts payable and receivable).
Issue invoices and receipts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies.
Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries.
Maintain and update financial records in the accounting system.
Handle petty cash and process employee expense claims.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
File and organize financial documents and records.
Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding payments and billing.
Perform general administrative and clerical support for the finance department.
