Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications in accordance with medical prescriptions and legal requirements.
Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure appropriateness, dosage accuracy, drug interactions, and contraindications.
Provide medication counseling to patients on dosage, side effects, storage, and adherence.
Maintain accurate patient medication records and documentation.
Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
Comply with pharmacy regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and national drug laws.
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective treatment plans.
Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) and support chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).
Perform pharmacovigilance reporting and document adverse drug reactions.
Participate in health promotion activities, such as vaccination campaigns or wellness screenings.
Train and supervise pharmacy assistants, interns, or support staff (if applicable).
