Process payments, set up payment plans, and provide financial assistance guidance to patients as needed.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, payments, and issue resolutions in the billing system.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
Work closely with medical billing specialists and accounts receivable teams to streamline billing processes.
Escalate complex billing issues to supervisors or management for timely resolution.
Stay updated on changes in medical billing codes, insurance policies, and healthcare regulations.
