Description

Apave Guyana is seeking for Several NDT & Lifting Inspectors to perform inspections onshore/offshore on various materials and components to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple NDT methods or lifting experience, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and excellent attention to detail.

Unexperienced candidates can also apply for this position.

Only local Guyanese candidates can apply.

Requirements

  • Certified in at least one NDT method or LEEA is considered as plus.

  • Rope Access certification is considered as plus.

  • Proven experience as an NDT Inspector is favorable but not mandatory.

  • Experience in lifting inspections (applies for the lifting inspection position)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Driving Licence

  • MS Office (Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct NDT or Lifting inspections (e.g., UT, PT, MT, VT, RT) on parts and structures.

  • Interpret and evaluate test results according to applicable codes, standards, and specifications.

  • Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports.

  • Maintain NDT equipment and ensure proper calibration.

  • Adhere to all safety procedures and quality control guidelines.
