AC Technician

The AC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems in various facilities operated by Muneshwers Limited and its joint ventures. The technician will ensure that all AC units are operating efficiently and in compliance with safety regulations, providing a comfortable environment for all building occupants.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in air conditioning maintenance and repair.

• Experience with various types of HVAC systems, including central air, split systems, and window units.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and equipment.

• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.

• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and manuals.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools.

• Comfortable working in confined spaces, on rooftops, and in various weather conditions.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Installation and Maintenance:

• Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems, including central air units, split systems, and window units.

• Perform regular preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

• Replace or repair defective parts, such as compressors, motors, fans, and thermostats.

Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.

• Use tools and equipment such as pressure gauges, leak detectors, and multimeters to identify issues.

• Resolve system malfunctions by troubleshooting and replacing or repairing defective parts.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure compliance with local and company safety guidelines and standards during all installations and repairs.

• Properly handle refrigerants in compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

• Maintain accurate records of all services performed and materials used.

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients, ensuring that all AC-related concerns are addressed promptly.

• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand service requests and provide updates on repair status.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with the maintenance team and other departments to coordinate work schedules and minimize disruption to daily operations.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance practices.
