Description

A data entry clerk's main responsibilities are to ensure that the organization's customers database is accurate, up-to-date and organized.

Requirements

  • At least 5 Subjects Csec inclusive of Mathematics and EDPM

  • Minimum 1 year working experience in similar or related field

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel

Responsibilities

  • Accurately inputting data from various sources (e.g., documents, forms, spreadsheets) into computer systems or databases. 

  • Ensuring that information in databases and systems remains current and accurate by making necessary changes. 

  • Checking the information entered for correctness and completeness against source documents or other data sources. 

  • Organizing and maintaining files both physical and digital files, ensuring they are organized and easily accessible. 

  • Ability to type accurately and quickly. 

  • Maintaining accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks. 

  • Being able to manage and organize data effectively. 

  • Being able to complete tasks efficiently and on time
