The Workshop Helper supports daily workshop operations by assisting skilled tradespersons such as welders, fabricators, painters, and sandblasters. The role involves handling materials, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and performing basic mechanical and workshop tasks in accordance with company safety and quality standards.
Secondary school education (preferred)
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Willingness to learn workshop and industrial skills
Skills & Competencies
Basic knowledge of hand tools and workshop equipment (preferred)
Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
Strong safety awareness

Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
Assist welders, fabricators, painters, and other tradespersons with daily tasks
Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for workshop activities
Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and fabricated items
Clean and organize workshop areas, tools, and equipment
Support basic grinding, cutting, fitting, and surface preparation tasks
Assist with painting, blasting, and coating preparation when required
Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled workers
Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies
Properly use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Perform other duties as assigned to support workshop operations
