Workshop Helpers

The Workshop Helper supports daily workshop operations by assisting skilled tradespersons such as welders, fabricators, painters, and sandblasters. The role involves handling materials, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and performing basic mechanical and workshop tasks in accordance with company safety and quality standards.

• Secondary school education (preferred)

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Willingness to learn workshop and industrial skills

• Skills & Competencies

  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and workshop equipment (preferred)

  • Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor

  • Strong safety awareness

  • Reliable, punctual, and disciplined

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment

Key Responsibilities

• Assist welders, fabricators, painters, and other tradespersons with daily tasks

• Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for workshop activities

• Load, unload, and move materials, tools, and fabricated items

• Clean and organize workshop areas, tools, and equipment

• Support basic grinding, cutting, fitting, and surface preparation tasks

• Assist with painting, blasting, and coating preparation when required

• Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled workers

• Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies

• Properly use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

• Perform other duties as assigned to support workshop operations
