Crew Members/Scoopers (Bruster's Real Ice Cream)

Bruster’s Scoopers are the face of our organization, proudly creating and serving our premium ice cream treats and toppings with exceptional customer service. Scoopers make it a goal to serve the ordered ice cream as fast as possible with accuracy and artistic presentation, delighting each guest!

• Previous restaurant experience preferred.

• Able to work flexible shifts per week including weekends and nights.

• Desire to provide excellent customer service in a friendly manner.

• Ability to speak clearly and pleasantly to customers.

• Must practice proper personal hygiene at all times.

• Must be able to work shifts.

• Ability to work well with team members.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; organization and time-management skills.

• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

• Employee must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform the job.

• Make increased ice cream consumption the goal of each shift.
• Prepare and complete customer orders in a timely manner.
• Accurately maintain cash drawer and ring up customer orders.
• Maintain welcome areas to always be set and ready to go.
• Offer a sincere, personal welcome to every guest entering the restaurant.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and work with team members to ensure work area is clean and sanitary throughout.
• Perform cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, cleaning of food prep areas, trash removal and restroom cleaning.
• Prudent in adhering to work schedule - Job responsibilities require long periods of standing.
