Description

To define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements. This includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications. The Programmer Analyst will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle; maintain job performance and quality standards, and housekeeping practices.

Requirements

Bsc in the field of computer science, information systems, or software engineering, and/or 2 years equivalent work experience

or

Diploma in Computer Science and 5 Years Work Experience in Systems Analyst /Programmer.

Proficiency in a variety of programming languages, including RPG and CL. Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices. Extensive relational database and operating systems experience with DB2 & Mysql. Thorough understanding of platforms such as IBM I and Intel. Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies, including Html5,JavaScript,JSON and CSS3 Prior experience interviewing end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and/or usability issues. Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans. Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
