Accounts Clerk

The Accounts Clerk supports the daily operations of the Accounts Department, by performing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping duties, they are to ensure that the company's daily accounting functions are carried out accurately and effectively, and responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to the Finance Department. Must be confidential and professional at all times and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Passes of no less than five (5) CSEC (general proficiency level) subjects including English, Mathematics and Accounts.

• Must be computer literate, and proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

• Excellent interpersonal skills are required as well as a responsible, calm and confidential attitude.

Experience:

• At least one (1) years’ experience in the accounting field in a finance department.

• Experience using an integrated accounting software is considered an asset.

• Must have knowledge of NIS, PAYE & VAT.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

• Monitoring Inventory.

• Processing payroll.

• Performing daily financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, and recording accounting data.

• Maintain Accounting Files.

• Data Input.

• Perform Administrative Duties.

• Verify & Record Business Transactions.

• Keep Sensitive Information Confidential.

• Any other duties assigned.
