Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Human Resources Officer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting all aspects of Human Resources operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant labor laws, and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Requirements

  • Degree in HR or related discipline.

  • At least 3 years experience in an HR Generalist role.

  • High degree of proficiency with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

Principal Accountabilities:

HR Services:

  • Execute HR operational tasks relating to the different stages of the employment lifecycle (recruiting, integration, engagement, departure).

  • Act as a resource for managers and employees relating to policies, counseling and discipline.

  • Work with management on manpower planning.

  • Advise and support management with absence reviews and absence management.

  • Manage employee onboarding process.

Payroll and Benefits Administration

  • Preparation of Payroll for Weekly/Fortnightly and associated activities.

  • Process NIS and other statutory forms and leave.

  • Leave Administration

  • Responsible for the coordination of the annuity plan and other benefit plans ensuring employees have all the relevant information.

  • Act as a liaison between the company and the benefits provider and make recommendations for improvements where necessary.

Training

  • Analyze training needs in collaboration with managers.

  • Prepare training plans.

  • Assist with the development and facilitation of training initiatives.

  • Liaise with external training agencies to source and coordinate training.

Employee Relations

  • Act as a liaison with management responsible for assisting with the development, implementation and monitoring of rewards and recognition programmes.

  • Assist with, the resolution of employee relations issues in keeping with best practice and Labour legislation.

  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with Group IR team as required.

Other

  • Prepare reports as agreed.

  • Gather, analyze and interpret employee relations data to identify trends, training opportunities, and system improvement.

  • Provide support on process improvement initiatives and projects e.g. development of JDs performance management, succession planning, etc…....

  • Perform and/or participate in compensation surveys and utilize published information as benchmarks.

  • Recommend compensation adjustments as appropriate.

  • Assist with the development of compensation programmes to attract, retain and provide incentive for team members to maximize productivity.

  • Contribute to the improvement of internal procedures and develop HR operations and services by looking into more efficient and effective ways of performing the tasks and monitoring best practices in the market.

  • Provide ideas and contribute to the HR Operations overall service, problem-solving and improvement initiatives.

  • Perform any other related duties that may be assigned by management in an efficient and effective manner.
